The Jordan Burger

Ingredients:

Kachumber

2 Cucumber

3 5 x 6 Tomatoes

1/2 bunch of Cilantro

15 Mint Leaves

Lemon Juice-1 Whole Lemon

Lime Juice-1 Whole Lime

RawSpiceBar Kashmiri Tandoori Spice 1 TSP

Pickled Onions:

2  Purple Onions

1 1/2 cup Red Wine Vinegar

1 1/2 cup Rice Vinegar

1 TBL Sugar

Kashmiri Mayonnaise

1 Cup Mayonnasie

3 TBL RawSpiceBar Kashmiri Tandoori Spice

1/2 of Lemon juice

Juice of a 1/2 lime

Cooking Instructions:

Prepare the Pickled Onions:

Bring both vinegars to a boil and then add one tablespoon of sugar and sliced purple onions. Cover and let the mixture boil for 15 minutes. Drain and place in fridge for 30 minutes or until cooled.

Prepare the Kachumber:

Cut cucumber and tomato into 1/4 cubes. Place into mixing bowl with finely chopped cilantro and mint. Mix together. add the juice of 1 lemon and 1 lime. Sprinkle with 1 TSP Kashmiri Tandoori Spice. Mix completely and refrigerate for 1 hour.

Prepare the Kashmiri Mayonnaise: 

In a medium size bowl, add the mayo, RawSpiceBar tandoori spice, juice of a 1/2 lemon and juice of a 1/2 of a lime and mix until smooth.

Prepare the Burger Patty:

Cook the burger to desired temperature (Get burger cooking tips here if you need some help). Melt 3 oz. of freshly shredded Cheddar Jack Cheese on cooked burger. Place on bun.

Assemble the Burger:

1. Stack 3 oz of Kachumber on top of burger.

2. Scoop 3 oz. of the pickled onions on top of Kachumber. 

3. Drizzle 2 oz of the Kashmiri Mayo on top of Kachumber.

4. Angle top roll on the back so all the ingredients are visible.
